Dr. Tshatshela joins LakeMed clinic from Saskatchewan. After graduating from the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 2008, he started his practice before moving to Canada in 2012. His practice mainly involved Primary Health Care and Emergency Medicine. He was certified as a Family Physician by the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Patient-centred care and the principles of Primary Health Care are the foundation of his practice. The Medical Home Model adopted by the LakeMed group will enable him to continue giving excellent care to his patients.

He enjoys the variety that Family Medicine exposes him to and considers each encounter with patients as a great privilege. He has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Obesity Medicine, Mental Health and Emergency Medicine.

Outside medicine, he enjoys reading, music, outdoors and travelling. He also enjoys a variety of sports including skiing during the winter.
